Sabrina is a Support Team member at Connect & Thrive Psychology and is currently enrolled in a Clinical Psychology program at York University.

Training & Experience

Sabrina graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She now holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree at York University, where she is pursuing her PhD while training to become a Clinical Psychologist. With extensive research experience in mental health, Sabrina focuses on topics such as anxiety and depression, the impact of social media on mental health, self-sabotage, and the roles of humility and compassion in promoting well-being.

Her research has served organizations with foci ranging from physical and mental health to social advocacy, including the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), Canadian Women & Sport, and Fast and Female. In addition to her research, Sabrina has practical experience conducting clinical intakes at York University. Through her current and previous roles as a teaching assistant at York University, a guest lecturer and mental health workshop leader at the University of Toronto, Sabrina continues to deepen her passion for psychology and mental health care.

Approach

As a Support Team Member, Sabrina works to assist both the clients and clinicians at our practice. Whether she’s answering emails, scheduling appointments, or connecting clients with the clinicians best-suited for their needs, Sabrina’s approachable and helpful nature ensures those around her feel supported.
