A Virtual Team Practice…
…deliberate in its efforts to invest in the well-being of its members
Central to our mission at Connect and Thrive Psychology is to invest in the well-being and growth, not only of our clients, but also of our team of clinicians and support personnel. We aim to support our team in engaging in work that they find fulfilling and uplifting, and that leaves them with enough emotional energy at the end of their day to be present in their personal lives. We believe this is critical to ensuring that our team can support our clients and the broader community in a consistently skillful and compassionate way.
…deliberate in its efforts to overcome the social isolation inherent in virtual care
We also believe that a person’s propensity to thrive is contingent on the presence of a healthy and supportive network of connections. This is something that has been made more difficult in the era of virtual care. Providers offering care remotely often work alone and must be intentional in creating opportunities for connection and support from their peers. At Connect and Thrive Psychology, we strive to strike a balance between the flexibility afforded through virtual care, and the community of support, learning and growth that often comes along with an in-person therapy practice.
Join Our Team
We are a small but growing team of warm, genuine and down-to-earth mental health care providers and supporters, dedicated to providing evidence-based virtual therapy to individuals and couples across the province. We have expertise in anxiety, obsessive compulsive and mood disorders; trauma and PTSD; complex mental illness; as well as relationship and interpersonal challenges.
We are looking for skilled and interpersonally lovely clinicians, who are committed to on-going learning and training, and who value connection, collaboration and interpersonal support in the workplace. We welcome applications from autonomous or supervised practice psychologists, social workers and therapists-in-training, licensed or working towards licensure in the province of Ontario. The ideal applicant will have experience working with a wide range of clients and clinical challenges as well as expertise in evidence-based practice (especially CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches).
